FAQ

1. How to join a session as a participant?

You have two options: 1) you can register for participation in one of the locations listed on the main page, or 2) you can participate online. For the latter you get further instructions on the page How it works.

2. Streaming is freezing. What to do?

Just refresh the browser.

3. We wish to arrange a local session virtually. How to proceed?

This can be arranged by combining streaming and local chat. First contact the coordinator (?) of the Venus seminars. You can suggest your own location by filling out the form to be accessed from the main page of this site. Please note you have to login on the site first. You will then be contacted and sent further instructions how to proceed.

4. What are the organizational requirements for becoming a location?

We expect that there is someone on your site acting as a moderator during the session. Moderator is the person responsible for facilitating the local session, leading the local discussion, gathering the questions for the speaker and acting as the local chairperson during the international discussion.

In order to make the local discussion even more fruitful we recommend you to ask a local expert in the field of the topic of the session to participate. The expert can further elaborate on the lecture and give his/her point of view on the topic. According to our experience this makes the local discussion more lively.
